Abstract: With a deep penetration of social media in everyone s life today, it seems impossible not newlineto include social media in consumer decision making. Be it any decision related to our newlinepurchases offline or online, social media influences our thought process and directly or newlineindirectly remains present in the buying decisions. At the same time, with more newlinebusinesses going from offline to online mode, the life of individuals have changed, newlineparticularly the use of social networking sites has revolutionized the process of newlineinformation searching and sharing not only by the common man but also by the newlineMillennials to a great extent. newlineThe present study focuses on the influence of social media on the decision making newlineprocess of millennials when they decide their travel plans. Major social media platforms newlinelike Facebook, Snap chat and Instagram not only attract users because of the features of newlineediting their content but also with the features where they can share their experiences and newlinegroup with the like-minded people around them. New social media platforms are being newlinedesigned every day and most of the people from this generation want to try and find out newlinethat how these new platforms can create a better life or a positive life to them including newlinehelping them making purchase decisions.
