Abstract: The necessity to find the goals of Competition law enforcement is imperative to establish a coherent body of jurisprudence. The rational of antitrust policy can only be assessed with a clear understanding of the goals of the law. However, the most primary step would be devising a set of policy guidelines that would regulate the competition law in India. These policies would ensure the effective interpretation of the statutory provisions and provide a uniform approach that may be adopted across cases. newline
