Abstract: | The main objective of the current study is to determine whether the usage of social media for civic engagement is contributing to the social capital of the country and in what manner. The idea of social capital is taken from unity of strength i.e. how volunteers are connected through social media to help the needy people and take initiatives to provide a comfortable life to them. Social capital in the current study is considered the combination of connectedness and civic engagement . |
