In this thesis I have evaluated all these problems at length i.e. Is the marginalization of natives intentional? Who is responsible for internal colonization? Will Metis ever be able to breathe the air of freedom? And I on humanitarian ground would like to profess that Métis should be given the freedom to enjoy their fundamental human rights. The path of assimilation or integration should be ceased in favour of Métis growth and development.
