Abstract: CsPbBr3 having direct bandgap of around 2.3 eV is favorable for absorbing layer in solar cell applications. Due to high transparency, proper energy band structure, and strong electron mobility, ZnO becomes good choice for ETL in solar cell applications. The thesis provides an overview of synthesis techniques for the samples. It also demonstrates the utilization of the solution-based single crystal growth technique known as ITC method for the production of pristine, Bi and Sn doped CsPbBr3 single crystals. The systematic analysis of the crystal structure through various characterization techniques is performed. It focuses on the deposition of CsPbBr3 and Bi/Sn-doped CsPbBr3 perovskite materials onto FTO substrates, employing the two-step spin-coating method. It also examines the impact of charge transfer and X-ray absorption properties of zinc oxide (ZnO) nanostructures that are co-doped with aluminium and copper for use as ETL in perovskite solar cells. newline
