Abstract: | The researcher has presented the thesis on A Comparative Study of Sports Participants of Different Socio-Economic Status about their Motives, Interest and Attitude In Context of Palamu Division of Jharkhand. For more convenience to research the study has been divided into five chapters. newlineIn the first chapter, the researcher presents the history of the research study in the first chapter of the introduction. They have also discussed the statement of the research problem, objectives, hypotheses, delimitation and limitation, significance, and definitions and explanations of terms that are explained and presented. newlineFour facets have been used to symbolically represent a conventional approach that is related to involvement in sports and achievement in sports. These academic subfields are known as psychology, sociology, physiology, and archaeology. Recent years have seen a rise in the significance of applying socio-psychological concepts and theories to the study of antecedents of athletic successes. These investigations have been conducted with the goal of better understanding the relationship between these variables and sporting success. Using a wide range of theoretical frameworks, sports psychologists have concentrated their research on the domains of personality, attitude, and motivation to better understand sports participation, athletic performance, and athletic greatness. The primary objective of the studies that have been conducted in this field has been to uncover the psychological factors that are associated with taking part in sports. Four components have been used to signify a conventional attitude linked with sporting involvement and sporting performance. Different points of view include those from psychology, sociology, biology, and anthropology. The necessity of using socio-psychological concepts and theories to analyse the causes driving athletic triumphs has been more clear in recent years. This has resulted in a greater focus on the importance of the socio-psychological study of sports. newline |
