Abstract: The present study was an attempt to assess the prevalence of Vitamin D deficiency and various associated risk factors among the adult males and females of Chandigarh. The overall prevalence of Vitamin D deficiency 44.97%. The prevalence of VDD indicated an age associated increment in both the males and females. Lesser physical activity and no intake of calcium, Vitamin D, and multivitamin supplements were possible determinants of Vitamin D deficiency. newline
