In the present research work titled, Intervention under International Law: An Analytical Study , efforts have been made to discuss various dimensions of intervention which include concept of just war, intervention under international law, humanitarian intervention, responsibility to protect, changing dimensions of sovereignty and case studies of Iraq and Afghanistan. Although, the concept of intervention is too broad to be confined in one thesis yet, efforts have been made to discuss military/forceful intervention. It is also important to emphasis here that the modern definitions of intervention also define intervention in this context. Intervention has been a very controversial topic throughout the modern State. It poses the very complex questions and generates intensive debates among the jurists and the scholars of the world. Its dimensions have been ever expanding and in future, it would not stop. At present, the United States-led interventions in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria, and Saudi Arabia-led intervention in Yemen show the ever increasing importance of the subject. None of issues of international law has baffled the world more, than the issue of intervention in the recent decades. newline
