Abstract: newline newlineIn the construction of concrete structures, sand is widely used as concrete ingredient newlinealong with cement and aggregate. There is scarcity of natural sand due to heavy demand in newlinegrowing construction activities which force to find suitable substitute. From the different newlineliterature studied the fine sand is partially replaced by Manufactured sand (M - Sand) as well newlineas Rock Quarry Dust, by knowing the scarcity of natural sand a performance based mixtures newlineproportioning approach is needed to balance the target performance required for workability, newlinestrength and durability for a given requirement of concrete strength. The aim of this work is to newlinedevelop an innovative performance based mixture proportion by analyzing the relationship newlinebetween the selected mixture characteristics and their corresponding effects on concrete newlineperformance. newline newlineKeywords: Manufactured Sand, Rock Quarry Dust newline
