This thesis aims to address the challenges associated with forensic facial reconstruction (FFR), focusing on the North Indian Haryanvi population by pursuing a comprehensive approach. The objectives of the study include compiling a sample of North Indian Haryanvi individuals and utilizing non-invasive imaging technology (CT) to collect 3D digital images, measuring soft tissue thickness (STT) at specific anatomical landmarks, analyzing the collected data to generate mean STT values for different age groups and sexes, and comparing these outcomes with values from other populations. Furthermore, the study aims to create a dedicated soft tissue thickness database for the North Indian Haryanvi population, which can serve as a reference for forensic facial reconstruction. newlineBy achieving these objectives, the study seeks to enhance the understanding of facial morphology and soft tissue characteristics specific to the North Indian Haryanvi population. The use of advanced imaging technology and precise measurements at standardized anatomical landmarks will provide valuable data for analysis. The generated mean STT values for different demographic groups will contribute to the knowledge of soft tissue thickness variations based on age and sex within this population. newline
