One of the most important aspects of athletic success is our psychological condition. We require a strong mental skill process to execute any skill flawlessly. Visual Motor Behaviour Rehearsal consists of three distinct phases, is to help athletes become more mentally strong. newlineThe study was conducted to examine the effect of Visual Motor Behaviour Rehearsal (VMBR) Training on selected psychological variables, that is sports anxiety and sports mental toughness, and skill performing competencies, that is alternate push, alternate counter, target service and forehand drive on target, of table tennis players after six and twelve weeks of the training. Fifty male state-level table tennis players within the age group of 17 to 23 years were selected from Inspire Table Tennis Academy, Secunderabad, Telangana and divided randomly into two groups, the control and experimental groups, each one consisting of 25 subjects. The experimental group underwent VMBR Training for six to twelve weeks of training for three times a week, and the control group was not involved in any kind of training program except for their daily practice. The selected psychological variables were confidence, consistency, control from sports mental toughness and somatic, worry, concentration disruption from sports anxiety scale. The selected Table Tennis skill performing variables were, alternate push test, alternate counter test, forehand drive on target with foot movement after playing backhand push and target service test.
