Abstract

Scientific discoveries and inventions can lead to new research fields that contribute to humanity s development. Studies generate creativity, improve our understanding of the world, provide solutions to specific problems, and improve our lives. In his work and practice, he includes research activities. Furthermore, the results of the research should bring social value, should be carried out in a wide range of fields and should have a prominent position in society. newlineConceptual Framework of Bibliometricsare defined in the research work. Synonymous terms were discussed for librametry, scientometrics, informetrics, cybermetrics, webometrics, altmetrics, citation, analysis. Major types of citation analysis studies briefly discussed like authorship study, types of document used, the language of the cited documents, ranking of journals and books, ranking by citation counts, ranking by impact factor, scattering of subjects, graphical representation. newlineThe research methodology is nothing but the various steps, to be taken to carry out the research. It is very essential to every researcher to know the research techniques and methodology.
