Abstract: | As the field of education continues to make efforts in incorporating web-based information and communication technologies (ICT) into the instructional process, it has become imperative to conduct in-depth research on the factors that impact the effective integration of these technologies in higher education. This research should focus on the factors that influence the effectiveness of the integration of these technologies. According to the findings of previous studies conducted in the field of higher education, it has been established that one of the most important factors in the successful adoption of instructional technology is the level of acceptability that it receives from students. To develop and evaluate a theoretical framework that forecasts the degree of acceptance among students in higher education institutions towards an information and communication technology (ICT) course management system, the current research makes use of existing scholarly works on management education, technology acceptance, and the implementation of change. These scholarly works are then used to develop the framework. The purpose of this investigation is to argue that the utilization of a web-based system as an alternative to more traditional methods of class management can be regarded as an example of a procedural alteration. newlineThis study investigates the relationship between the acceptance of a new system by students and a number of elements that contribute to the facilitation and motivation of change. This study reveals that there is a positive relationship between the perceived utility of a system and the perceived incentive to use the newlinevi newlinesystem, the perceived encouragement to use the system from instructors, and the encouragement to use the system from peers. This study also demonstrates that this association is positive. In addition, there is a positive association between the level of acceptance shown by students toward this system and the perceived usefulness of the system. This system is being used by them.
