Abstract: The proposed study is based on INDO-PAK RELATIONS: IMPLICATIONS FOR THE WORKING OF SAARC . Indo-Pak relations have restrained the normal activities of SAARC and the Kashmir issue, nuclear rivalry, terrorism and four wars are core area of concern. Pakistan always raised her bilateral issues in various SAARC summits but India wants to resolve these issues through negotiations. Their bilateral disputes were discussed in various SAARC summits but never took any action. The bilateral trade remains negligible because it is governed by political interests. Indo-Pak rivalry has adversely affected the process of the working of SAARC. newline
