Abstract: Polymeric nanoparticles containing mushroom extract offer a novel and encouraging method newlinefor medication administration and nutraceutical uses. The process usually entails enclosing bioactive substances obtained from mushrooms, such as polyphenols and polysaccharides, within polymer matrices that are both biocompatible and biodegradable. The study investigates the hepatoprotective effect of C. militaris and CM-PNPs against hepatotoxicant acetaminophen newline(APAP). APAP significantly damaged the liver, leading to changes in liver function markers. newlineC. militaris and CM-PNPs showed high efficiency in preventing liver damage, compared to silymarin at acute and sub-chronic doses. The study suggests that oxidative stress contributes to chronic illnesses. The hepatoprotective effects of these drugs may involve enhancing antioxidant defense systems, decreasing LPO, preventing GSH depletion, and destroying free newlineradicals. CM-PNPs showed more efficacy than the crude extract of C. militaris, improving newlinesolubility, retention time, intestinal absorption, and decreasing dose quantity and frequency. This study confirms the efficacy of CM-PNPs as a therapeutic approach for the development of treatments aimed at preventing and treating liver problems. newline
