Abstract: Better performance nowadays is basically dependent upon the scientific sports training newlinemethods that can develop the physical fitness components, skills, and techniques of a player. newlineComplex training and the combination of speed-plyometric training is a highly effective form of newlineexercise that prepares the muscles for action, which significantly improves sports performance. It newlineproduces fast and powerful movements that provide speed, explosive strength, and skills to newlinefootball players. newlineThe purpose of this study was to evaluate the quoteffect of complex training and combination of newlinespeed-plyometric training on selected speed, explosive strength, and skill-related performance newlineparameters among men football players.quot In this study, total of 60 (sixty) men football players newlinewere selected purposively who had participated in at least inter-college and state-level newlinecompetition from ICFAI University Tripura. The age range of each required football player was newlinebetween 18 to 25 years. They were divided into three respective groups, namely the complex newlinetraining group (CTG, N=20), the combination of speed-plyometric training group (CSPTG, N = newline20), and the control group (CG, N = 20). The study is mentioned or done only in complex newlinetraining (weight training and plyometric training ) and combination of speed-plyometric training newlinefor one to a half hours on alternate days. The researcher took the pre-test and, after 12 weeks, the newlinepost-test. He has given weekly three-day complex training (weight training and plyometric training newline) and combination of speed-plyometric training for a period of 12 weeks. The total number of newlinesessions per week was restricted to three days and three sessions. newlineThe pre-test and post-test data were collected through the Nelson reaction time test for newlinereaction time (hand reaction time and foot reaction time), 60 meter speed test for maximum newlinespeed, standing broad jump for leg explosive power, SEMO test for agility, RAST for newlineacceleration, velocity, force, power, minimum power, maximum power, average power, and newlinefatigue index.
