Abstract: | It is estimated that almost three-fourths of the herbal drugs used worldwide newlinewere discovered following leads from local medicine. According to WHO newlineabout 25% of modern medicines are descended from plants first used newlinetraditionally. Almost, 70% of modern medicines in India are derived from newlinenatural products. Recently even developed countries, are using medicinal newlinesystems that involve the use of herbal drugs and remedies. Undoubtedly newlinethe demand for plant-derived products has increased worldwide. The newlinedemand is estimated to grow within the years to return filled by the newlineexpansion of sales of herbal supplements and remedies. This means that newlinescientists, doctors, and pharmaceutical companies are going to be watching newlinecountries like China, India, etc. for their requirements, as they have the newlinemost medicinal plant species and are the top exporters of medicinal plants. newlineAll the selected plants [Andrographis Paniculata (Kalmegha), Curcuma newlineLonga (Turmeric), Cymbopogan Citratus (Lemongrass), Dioscorea newlineDeltoidea (Garadu), Hibiscus Rosasinensis (Hibiscus), Luffa Cylindrica newline(Sponge gourd), Mintha Spicata (Mint), Moringa Oleifera (Drum sticks), newlineMurraya Koenigii (Curry Leaves), Phyllanthus Amarus (Jaramla), and newlineTinospora Cordifolia (Giloy)] with different solvent extraction have newlinephytochemical properties. |
