Abstract: The research work embodied in this thesis involves the study based on heavy metals load in cancer patients and its correlation with different environmental factors of Malwa region of Punjab (India). Heavy metals are present in nature. Due to industrialization, these are used in many different activities. Contamination of groundwater, soil and crops may have adverse health effects on human beings. The reasons for groundwater contamination is may be due to rock material and under groundwater water movement. The continuous low level of water is the reason of mixing of groundwater with under groundwater. This results in contamination of water with unwanted material. Other main reason is use of high quantity of pesticides and chemical fertilizers. newline
