Abstract: | newline The researcher is interested to check the effect of SAHAJA YOGA techniques on newlinecognitive performance particularly Meta-Cognitive skills among BBA students those newlineare yet to complete their graduation. The study is carried at Raisoni Management newlineCollege Nagpur. The sample (n=560) is randomly selected including male and newlinefemale UG students with a control group (n=45). newlineA standardized scale name as MCSS meta-Cognitive Skill Scale is particularly newlineselected to measure present level of Meta-Cognition skill and its factors planning, newlineimplementation, monitoring and evaluation. A researcher is a SAHAJA YOGA newlinetrainer, carried a SAHAJA YOGA practices for 3 months, every day for 30 min, so newlineas to see impact of SAHAJA YOGA practices on Meta-cognition and cognitive newlineperformance of UG students. Post-intervention administration of same scale has newlinegiven score on Meta-Cognition on its factors which is compared with Preintervention newlineobservations. Descriptive statistics is used for comparison. In addition, newlinet- statistics is used to find out significance difference between pre and post newlineobservation on Meta-Cognition and its factor. Cognitive performance is obtained newlinethrough recorded feedback from respondents on their free will. Findings and result of newlinethe study proved that there is a significant difference between pre intervention Meta- newlineCognition skills and post-intervention skills. Another important finding is that after newlineexecution of SAHAJA YOGA the group becomes more homogenous in terms of newlinetheir planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation skills. The results are newlinesupported by control group there was a negligible change in Meta-Cognition skills of newlinerespondents of a control group even after 3 months. Respondents have reported newlinechanges in Meta-Cognitive performance in terms of stress reduction, improvement in newlineconcentration and improvement in decision making. |
