dc.description.abstractnewline Abstract: newlineBackground of the Study: The present study was designed to explore the relationship between teaching aptitude, personality and self-efficacy. newlineDesign of the study: Co-relational study design including mediation was used. newlineMethodology: 300 school physical education teachers were included in the survey. The teachers consent to fill the standardize versions of teaching aptitude test, big 5 personality inventory and self-efficacy scale. Karl Pearson correlation coefficient was used to find out the relationship between teaching aptitude, personality and self-efficacy. The age of the teachers were ranged from 28 to 60 years. newlineResult: A significant relationship on 0.05 level of significance was observed between personality and teaching aptitude. No significant relationship was observed between teaching aptitude and self-efficacy. newlineConclusion: Neuroticism, a negative aspect of personality was increased with chronological age and it was negatively associated with teaching aptitude. newline
