Abstract: The present research work focused on Analytical study of human resource practices in private hospitals in Madhya Pradesh. Like any other service sector industry such as information technology and information technology enabled services industry, health care industry to is an industry that rely heavily on human resource for performance. newlineIn present era when the technological advancement is taking place at a rapid pace and every industry is moving towards cent percent automation health care industry remains an industry that still and will always require humane interference. Irrespective of the development in artificial intelligence and emotional quotient of machines the machines will never be able to replace the human manpower from the health care industry. It is all due to the Midas touch offered by human health care professionals. newlineSince the industry rely heavily on the human resource an HRM system is must for managing the large workforce. In Indian context nursing homes and private hospitals are synonym to health care and are large in number. These healthcare services rely on specialization of the doctor who is maximum number of times is the owner of the hospital. The staff is managed on physical books and training and development of these employees are often neglected. On the flip side of the coin India also hosts world class health care institutes and organizations that are putting India on world healthcare tourism destination map. These hospitals work like a sequential and process driven machine with every aspect of organization being managed and operationalized using an executive body. newlineThese executive body frames HRM policies that shapes the future of the employee which in turn decides their organization development path, training, and development, remuneration etc. This leads to job satisfaction and ultimately its reflection is visible on patient s satisfaction which is the benchmark of performance of the hospital.
