Enhancement of Service Level Agreement Sla Management Framework for Cloud Environment

Abstract

Cloud computing attracted researchers from around the world due to its fast computing ability and the new horizons that could be explored. Mostly in Cloud Industry the services are provided on pay per use basis under an Agreement between vendor and customer which defines the mutually agreed quality levels of service. This Agreement between vendor and consumer is called Service Level Agreement. The Management of SLA in Cloud Computing is still under thorough research. The cloud vendors provide mainly three types of services SaaS (Software as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service) and IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service). The SLA in general is independent of type of service being provided. The consumer needs to possess minimum hardware and software specification to experience the service in most acceptable form. The SLA management revolves around customer satisfaction through minimum latency and minimum violations of service quality levels. SLA management is mostly performed in background by the service provider. newline
