dc.description.abstract | The energy from the fossil fuel plays a vital role in the growth of newlinesocial, economic and industrial development of the entire world. According to newlinethe statistical review of World Energy 2020, almost 84% of the total energy newlinedemand of the world is fulfilled through the energy obtained from fossil fuel. newlineEven though the fossil fuels are playing a leading role in world energy systems, newlinethey emit Carbon Dioxide (CO2) while burning, which pollutes the air resulting newlinein global warming. To save the ecosystem, the researches focussed to alternate newlinesources to produce clean and green energy. Thus there is transition in the power newlinesector from traditional sources to renewable energy sources. newlineAs per the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), green energy newlineprovides the utmost environmental welfares and the renewable power sources newlineare solar, wind, geothermal, biogas, low effect hydroelectric and biomass. newlineNow the main disadvantage of using renewable resources on a big scale is newlineexpensive, and further examination is desirable for their use to be cost newlinebeneficial. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), estimates that by newline2050, the over-all electricity (90%) requirements would be supplied by newlinerenewable, 6% from natural gas and remaining from nuclear. The agency has newlineacknowledged 30 originations for the integration of wind and solar PV in power newlinesystem. Based on these surveys the main motivation of the research starts to newlinedesign an Inverter that is suitable for renewable power applications. newlineThe designed topology should have good efficiency and the efficiency of the newlinesystem can be improved by decreasing the power processing stages. The aim of newlinedesigning a new topology extends in focussing to minimize the number of power newlineprocessing stages and the proposed inverter should generate quality sinusoidal newlineoutput waveform without any additional boosting components and filters. newline | |
