Forensic Intelligence and Aspects of Drug Counterfeiting

Abstract

The thesis deals with the forensic study of drug counterfeits which comprises of brief introduction along with the review of literature on drug counterfeits including collection of the suspected medicines and study of their chemical fingerprinting using instrumental analysis. Authors had divided the complete study under seven chapters. newlineChapter one dealt with the history of counterfeiting of drugs with its current status in the world as well as in the Indian market and it also includes the techniques that were used to examine the drugs (medicines in the form of tablets, capsules, syrups etc.) including the literature survey comprises of research papers/articles. newline
