Abstract: Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) constitutes numerous distributed newlinesensors for monitoring physical or environmental conditions such as pressure, newlinetemperature, sound, and so on and cooperatively transferring their collected newlineinformation through the network towards the main location. WSNs are newlineutilized in a lot of applications. WSN contains multiple nodes in which every newlinenode can link with other sensors. Internet of Things (IoT) is defined as a newlinenetwork of physical objects like sensors embedded with software, network newlineconnectivity, and electronics, which permits the physical entities to gather and newlineexchange data amongst themselves. IoT has many applications in the newlineenvironment, transport management, health monitoring, automation, cities, newlinehomes, target tracking, and routing. These IoT applications are made possible newlinebecause of the sensor node deployment that constantly monitors the newlinesurrounding entities and environment, gathers and transmits the sensed data as newlineper the IoT application requirement. newlineEnhancement of WSN scalability and energy-efficiency has been newlinedemonstrated with the use of clustering-based or hierarchical-based routing newlineapproaches. In this work, evaluates the Low Energy Adaptive Clustering newlineHierarchy (LEACH), the Three-Layered LEACH (TL-LEACH) protocol and newlineHeterogeneous-LEACH (LEACH-HPR) protocols. LEACH is a self-organized newlineclustering algorithm that distributes energy usage amongst the networkand#8223;s newlinesensors. The sensors are organized into local networks in this algorithm. newlineTL-LEACH protocol that employs the Power-Efficient Gathering in Sensor newlineInformation Systems (PEGASIS) protocol concept for enhancing LEACH newline
