Abstract: | This thesis work is a study about an integration of different newlinemethods for Reconfiguration and Distributed Generation in Distribution newlineNetwork. Distribution Network (DN) is the important core part of the newlineelectrical power system as it connects the power can be generated in the newlinegenerating station to the load centre. newlineIn the stable electrical grid, the generation of the power must newlinebalance the sum of demand power and the losses of power incurred in newlineproviding the demand. The Power losses takes place in the DN is due to the newlinedissipation of power in the equipment, located at the load centre. Due to the newlinelosses, the power balance equation gets violated mostly in the developing newlinecountries. With the intention of right the power balance equation either newlinegeneration of power has to be increased or the losses has to be decreased. newlineFrequently installing of power generating station is a difficult task and not newlineeconomical in developing countries for balancing the operation in day-to-day newlinebasis. So, minimization of the losses is preferred. newlineIn the DN, losses are one of the main factors under transmission newlineand distribution area. The main condition which contributes for the increase in newlinelosses is the improper planning, which results in (i) overloading of lines (ii) newlineinappropriate size of the conductor for the power flow (iii) long distribution newlinelines. newline |
