Abstract: | The objective of this thesis is to synthesise a variety of silicon compounds, such as organosilanes derivatized with organic fragments, for application as physiologically active agents and heavy metal detection in aqueous solutions. The primary goal of this thesis is to develop more efficient chemical reactions and procedures for preparing organosilanes, which might replace other traditional synthetic approaches and change future chemical and biological research. Individually, organosilane shows considerable promise as biological active agents. Conjugating organosilanes with a variety of flexible ligands that are excellent for biological activity can have a synergic impact on the individual activities of these physiologically active moieties, making it worthwhile to investigate. Furthermore, scientists are now interested in developing novel molecular sensors for the detection of metal ions in order to monitor environmental and biological activities. newline |
