Abstract: | liquids are currently receiving a lot of interest for their potential use as catalysts in a newlinevariety of chemical reactions. The popularity of ionic liquids in numerous fields of science can newlinebe attributed to their structural flexibility, such as electrochemistry, chemistry, biology, and newlinesynthetic and industrial chemistry. The novel DABCO based Dicationic Acidic Ionic Liquids newline(DDAILs) have been synthesized, characterized via IR, NMR, and Mass spectrometry. The newlineBronsted acidic functional groups, including ClO4, H2PO4 and HSO4 are injected into the newlinestructure of an ionic liquid, especially as anions, to increase the selectivity and reactivity of newlinevarious organic reactions. These synthesized ionic liquids were used as green and efficient newlinecatalysts in the further synthesis of biologically active sulphur containing five, six, and sevenmembered newlineheterocyclic compounds. newlineOne of the main areas of research in contemporary drug development is heterocycles, which newlineare structures with a high degree of variability. They not only aid in the biological and industrial newlineprogress of society, but also assist in solving the riddle of the numerous living processes on newlineearth. Numerous crucial biological systems, including DNA, RNA, hemoglobin, alkaloids, and newlinehormones, are made up primarily of heterocyclic molecules. The motivating factor behind the newlinediverse applications of heterocyclic molecules in pharmacology, agrochemistry, and more newlinerecently, material science is their distinctive structural properties. A wide range of heterocyclic newlinecompounds are known, but sulfur-containing heterocycles newline |
