Over the last few decades, there has been a rapid increase in innovation in the field of surgical orthopaedics, particularly in the field of joint replacement surgeries. The number of joint replacement operations performed in India has increased dramatically during the past several years. Most of the joints are affected by osteoarthritis especially, hip and knee joints. It has a significant impact on individual person, who is affected by osteoarthritis and ends up with pain and disability. Joint replacement as a surgical treatment for end-stage osteoarthritis has been successful for millions of patients around the globe. In India, for the past three decades cases of osteoarthritis increased 2.7 times higher, still it is rising. A prosthetic implant in femur is used to replace the hip joint, due to osteoarthritis and/or fractures. This surgical process is known as Total Hip Replacement (THR). After THR surgery, further fracture (Periprosthetic Femoral Fracture) can happen in the weak femur bone near to the implant in any location (proximal, midshaft and distal regions), within two years newline
