Abstract: Renewable energy technologies and solutions are becoming the source for overcoming the global energy quest. This has resulted in immense research and development in power conversion techniques. Also, the prime source for climate change and global warming is the automotive industry and hence it is taking a paradigm shift. It has started seeking more sustainable options such as shifting away from gasoline to hybrids and electric solutions.
