Mid-day meal is very significant initiative of government which provides complimentary or subsidised meals to schoolchildren during their academic day. Mid-day meal enhances nutritional standards, boost attendance and elevate educational achievements. This study focuses on the real-world implementation challenges of this programme with a specific emphasis on assessing the efficacy of measures introduced by the Punjab government to address issues pertaining to the Mid-Day Meal programme in the state. newline
