Abstract: The simulation analysis of the proposed and the existing controllers have been carried out on MATLABTM / SIMULINKTM platform. The real-time experimentation has been performed, to validate the simulation results, on laboratory based experimental testbed of a 6 KVA doubly fed induction generator system with OPAL-RT s real time digital simulator OP4510. Real-time simulations and modelling of conventional and proposed controllers have been carried out using RT-LAB real time simulation platform. The comparative assessment of the proposed controller and existing controllers has been presented based on dynamic response under different operating conditions and output power efficiency. newline
