Abstract: | Photocatalysis using semiconductors has been a preferred study newlinearea because to its practical uses in solving energy supply and pollution newlinechallenges. Single-phase photocatalysts, on the other hand, are limited in their newlineutility due to low visible-light responses and high electron hole combining newlinerates, both of which are significant in deciding photocatalytic activity. newlineHeterojunction photocatalysts combine many characteristics by integrating newlinedifferent individual materials within the same structure. In addition, the newlinesynergistic effects of heterojunctions can decrease combination and accelerate newlinethe separation rate of photogenerated charge carriers, resulting in greater newlinephotoactivity. Recently, the photocatalytic characteristics of a variety of metal newlineoxides combined with g-C3N4 hetetrojunction catalysts, such as WO3/g-C3N4, newlineCdS/g-C3N4, NiO/g-C3N4, and Fe2O3/g-C3N4, have been thoroughly newlineexplored. Electrochromic windows, photocatalysts, biosensors and gas newlinesensors are all being explored as catalyst materials based on metal tungstate newlineoxide nanoparticles. We report here on the photocatalytic activity of newlineTungstate/g-C3N4 hybrid photocatalysts for the degradation of induced newlinerhodamine B (RhB) and 4-Chlorophenol (4-CP) dyes in a suspension system, newlineas a result of these publications and as part of our ongoing research effort on newlinetungsten based photocatalysts. To our knowledge, the high performance newlinephotocatalytic capabilities of a Tungstate/g-C3N4 hybrid catalyst have never newlinebeen reported before newline newline |
