This study has been done on randomly selected total 1000 ears (500 individuals, 250 males, 250 females), residing in Sriganganagar Rajasthan. There was no significant difference in the distribution of males and females between age groups. The oval shape ear was more predominated with 53.4%, and least was polygonal with 1.4%. There was no significant difference in mean Total Ear Length, Ear Length above Tragus, Ear Length below Tragus, Tragus, Ear Breadth, Concha Length, Concha Breadth, Lobule Height, Lobule Width, and Lobule Thickness between Right and Left. All the anthropometric measurements were significantly more among males compared to females as p-value lt 0.05 except ear length below tragus and lobule height. There was a significantly positive correlation with Age. There was a strong positive significant correlation (r=0.551) of Total Ear Length with Height and correlation (r=0.338) of Lobule Thickness with Weight. Hairy pinna trait was seen in 30% of male study population. Free ear lobule was predominant with 79.2% over attached ear lobule pattern. The mean value of biometrics A3, A5, A6, A7, A8, A9 and A10 were significantly more among males compared to females. The best combination was of six biometrics A8, A6, A11, A9, A3 and A7 for gender estimation. Free ear lobules are dominant over attached ear lobules. newline
