Abstract: Transportation corridors enjoy seminal relevance with new variants like maritime, digital, space and health corridors. China launched Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) in 2013, touted as Project of Century. China Pak Economic Corridor (CPEC) is flagship project of BRI. Project is floundering with host of bottle necks. The project traverses through PoK, violating sovereignty and projecting grave security challenges with Gwadar port as the hub. India has to develop a multi-pronged strategy including alternative connectivity and capability building to cope up with the collusive threat posed by China and Pakistan using CPEC. newline
