dc.description.abstractInstant doctoral dissertation delves into the imperative for speedy justice in criminal jurisprudence, it underscores that swift dispute resolution is not merely a matter of convenience but a foundational element for an effective, efficient and equitable judicial system. The research critically examines the primary impediments to dispensation of timely criminal justice in India, including outdated legal procedure, infrastructural limitations, systematic inefficiencies etc plaguing the complex multifaceted Indian judicial landscape. Accordingly proposes a comprehensive set of remedial reforms and policy recommendation encompassing legislative changes, incorporating technological advancements, administrative improvements, institutional reforms alongwith coordinated and sincere endeavours aimed at expediting the judicial process. Furthermore instant thesis contributes to ongoing discourse on legal reforms in India, highlighting the importance of speedy justice in upholding basic human rights, fostering social coherence and promoting economic development. By addressing these critical issues, it seeks to enhance public trust and confidence in criminal jurisprudence, thus strengthening the justice dispensation system and rule of law as being the foundation of welfare democracy in India. newline
