dc.description.abstractThe main aim of the current study is to test the conceptual model linking to the concept of understanding the role of ethical leadership, perceived organisational support and organisational justice to the relationship between psychological empowerment and employee engagement. The current study conducted on the sample size of 595 employees from public and private banks and insurance companies. The results of the study favor the relationship existence between the psychological empowerment and employee engagement. The result of the study revealed that there is significant impact of psychological empowerment on employee engagement. The study supports the role of ethical leadership, organisational justice and perceived organisational support s mediating role on the psychological empowerment and engagement of employees at workplace. This study may provide useful insight to organisations to use psychological empowerment and employee engagement to improve the performance of the employees and boost their morale. It is recommended to use various empowerment techniques, which reduces the stress level of employees and improves their psychological empowerment. These techniques also affect the engagement level of employees, which is mediated by ethical leaders, justice and support perception of the employees in the organisations. newline
