dc.description.abstract | Drawing upon the insights to the participation of students in the political activities on the campus, major participations of the students in the campus politics came through either voting, or canvassing or taking part in party meetings or even funding the political parties. As a part of this study, it could be concluded that such opinions could be formed either as an influence of a party leader or parents or as a conscious approach of the individual. Another important aspect comes in when the government takes any decision regarding an issue. It is then, that the views and expression of the respondents can be taken into consideration. On being asked whether the respondent from the studied population belonged to any particular political party, the response recorded showed that a bare minimum number of females were playing an active part in such political parties. Caste and religion were observed to play an important role. newline | |
