Forensic assessment of effect of regional scripts mother tongue on English handwriting in India

Abstract

The present research topic entitled Forensic Assessment of Effect of Regional Scripts (Mother Tongue) On English Handwriting in Indiaand#8223; is an attempt to test this notion of unavoidable influence of writing habits acquired during the early phase of learning of primary language/mother tongue. The present study also assessed the major class characteristics of the five selected scheduled mother tongue languages (scripts) and further attempted to pin-point the mother tongue or primary learned language (L1) by examining the English handwriting samples. newline
