dc.description.abstractnewline Introduction: GunjadyaTailais Ayurvedic Formulation which is used mainly in the management of Kushthaand Vatvedana.GunjadyaTaila contain drugs like Gunjabeeja,BhhringarajPatraSwaras and TilaTaila. These drugs are very potent individually and possess VedhanaSthapak,andKushthagna property. In Ayurveda there are various formulations of these drugs mention in different Text.GunjadyaTaila is one of the formulation which is mentioned in Rasatarangini.The standardization of GunjadyaTaila is not mentioned in Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia of India; hence in this study, an attempt has been made to provide scientific data and statistical validation the study on Pharmacetico analytical study of Gunjadya Taila prepared by using Murchchhita and Amurchchhita Tila Taila and evaluation of its antimicrobial activity and sub-acute dermal toxicity study in albino rats is undertaken. newline.Materials and Methods: Pharmaceutical standardization of GunjadyaTailaprepared as per reference of Rasatarangini and GunjadyaTaila was formulated as referredsuch as refractive index, specificgravity, saponification value, acid value, iodine value.PH value Loss on drying ,Ash valiue ,Rancidity,HPTLC.Conclusion: From the results, it was concluded that Gunjadya Taila possess significant antimicrobial activity against Staphylococcus aureus E coli and candida albicans.
