Abstract: The thesis titled Characterization of Xylanase Enzyme and its immobilization onto a biocompatible metal organic framework for potential application in industrial processes gives an insight into the isolation of Xylanase Enzyme extracted from Bacillus pumilus strain. This enzyme was immobilized onto a biocompatible metal organic framework (Cu BTC). This immobilized system was evaluated for three different applications of Xylanase Enzyme in the evaluated for three different applications of Xylanase Enzyme in the areas of pulp bio bleaching, production of Xylooligosaccharide, and areas of pulp bio bleaching, production of Xylooligosaccharide, and clarification of fruit juice. newline
