The thesis newlinestatement for this research is- The structural analysis of newlinethe novel titles as the noun phrases guides the readers to newlineestimate the title as the suggestive, intentional, relevant, newlineapt and expository artifact contributing towards the newlineaesthetic end of the novel as a literary form .This is newlinepredominantly a qualitative, linguistic, analytical, newlinedescriptive and theoretical research. Hence the main newlineresearch method employed would be library research.The newlineresearcher relied on the structural NP analysis, aptness newlineanalysis on the basis of tree diagram, thematic relevance of newlinethe title with the help of the primary sources -the novels newlineand the secondary sources articles, research papers, newlinetheses, critical books , journals. The novel titles selected newlinefor the study are all from the Victorian period as denoted newlinein the thesis title.
