Abstract: | We are now getting more dependent on indoor cooling with the many global occurrences. So if we try to understand time spent indoors will be higher than the ones spent outside. Accepting the situation and trying to find a solution to the needed change is a must. In the same context, a look into material use in interiors has been scooped into. Materials at a larger scale are looked at only with the look of aesthetics mostly by the designers. An exertion is looked into making material understanding with a different perspective. When the research started it was for health and material as a concern. This rolled to making it into the perspective of indoor air quality. Understanding it further highlighted that there are many concerns for indoor air quality (IAQ) and indoor air environment (IAE). IAQ and IAE, go hand in hand where many aspects are there which can be looked at from an architectural point of view to interior spaces. Proper light and air ventilation, are responsive to climate and building design. Narrowing the concern to the Interior domain, spatial planning, use of material, etc starts focusing. Material as a core of research curiosity, has been explored further. newlineIt was measured that the possibility of indoor pollution could be 10 times higher than outdoor pollution. Attitudes to well-being have prioritized towards endurance of healthy lives and promoting well-being for all. The same here is being seen through making the Interior spaces for the healthy being of an individual remodeled the framework for healthy building criteria. which was initially formulated by Fange in 1996, which focuses on health as a major concern in the near future with respect to Interior Environment. It is reframed by Fange (1996) that in the years 2025-2050, a paradigm shift will be towards personal aesthetics and the health sector and the cause for pollution sources will be People, buildings, and Outside Environment. A focused look into the use of the material in an influential context-role of the newlinevii newlinematerial palette is to execu |
