Abstract

This study attempts to analyze the works of three Indian feminist writers. The newlineresearch will include the theory of feminism as the authors chosen for study are newlinedealing with the theory of female oppression, exploitation, gender biasness, inequality newlineand discrimination based on sexes. newlineThe work titled as Psychodynamics of Feminism: A Gynocritical study of the newlineselect novels of Anita Desai, Shashi Despande and Nayantara Sahgal include the newlinestudy of feminism, which is a term having wide and varied meaning with various newlineperspectives. The term feminism is basically defined as the belief in social, political newlineand economic equality of the sexes. Although largely manifested world wide, it has its newlineroots in history. It has its roots in Mary Wollstonecraftand#8223;s A Vindication of Rights of newlineWomen (1792).
