dc.description.abstractInformation Technology (IT) plays a vital role as it has become one of the fastest growing industry. Due to extensive use of Informational Technology the world today has become one global village. It has transfigured the way businesses are conducted today by private and Government alike. Asif ,2020 India s IT workforce reports for 4.36 million employees. The Information Technology is defined as the blueprint, evolution, execution and management of computer-based information system.. Attrition being the major problem in this Industry. The study shows the impact of self and organizational efficacy on Attrition Intent. newline newlineThe findings shows that he self-efficacy is related to the attrition intent in a statistically significant way and self-efficacy is a predictor of employee attrition This can be said that 37 per cent of the contribution in attrition intent is explained by self-efficacy. Rest of the 63 per cent of the variance is attributed to the other factors. These factors could be many. Few possible factors are better future prospects outside, centralised decision and mismatch with the job description. newlineFurther the organisational efficacy is related to the attrition intent in a statistically significant way and organisational efficacy is a strong predictor of employee attrition intent .It can be concluded that 34 per cent of the variance in attrition intent is contributed by the organisational efficacy: rest of the 66 per cent of the variance is attributed to the other factors, newline newline Moreover the results indicate that the self efficacy and organisational efficacy is related to the attrition intent in a statistically significant way and organisational efficacy is a strong predictor of employee attrition intent .It can be concluded that 55 per cent of the variance in attrition intent is contributed by the organisational efficacy and self efficacy : rest of the 45 per cent of the variance is attributed to the other factors. Some possible organisational factors could be organisational policies, culture and leadership. newline
