A Study on Job Satisfaction among Academicians of Higher Education Institutions in Odisha

Abstract newlineThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the level of job satisfaction among Academicians in newlineHigher Education Institutions in Odisha. In order to accomplish this objective, a crosssectional newlineresearch methodology was used. The researcher employed the proportionate newlinestratified random sampling approach to choose a sample of 373 Academicians. The collected newlinedata was subjected to analysis using appropriate statistical techniques, such as calculating the newlineArithmetic Mean, Standard Deviation, T-test, and SEM, etc. The results of the study suggested newlinea considerable proportion of Academicians in Odisha have a moderate degree of job newlinesatisfaction. newlineThe key findings of the study shed light on the job satisfaction landscape among newlineacademicians of higher education in Odisha. The result indicated that a substantial newlineproportion of these academicians report a moderate degree of job satisfaction. This newlineobservation is of paramount significance, as job satisfaction plays a pivotal role in the overall newlinewell-being and performance of academicians.
