Abstract: The present study is an attempt to study the works of T. S. Eliot that discuss the newlineprevalent social issues come under the category of remedial implication for they tend to newlineprovide solution to the stated problem through the consequences of the activities.Remedial newlineImplications refer to the genuine, proper and applicable solutions provided through literary newlinetexts which could help common readers to sort out their issues. T. S. Eliot s dramas are the newlinesocial histories, documents of the contemporary period, and a record of transforming lives. newlineThat way they are the real guides for modern people to learn, implement and follow to. newlineThe present research work throws light on remedial implications refer to the newlinegenuine, proper and applicable solutions provided through literary texts which could help newlinecommon readers to sort out their issues. He does not explicitly talk about the solutions but newlinethrough characterization, images and pictures creates a life-like situation from which the newlinereaders can chose for the appropriate solution. newlineHere, T. S. Eliot s dramas have been selected for the present research work these includes- newlineMurder in the Cathedral (1935), The Family Reunion (1939), The Cocktail Party (1950), newlineThe Elder Statesman (1958) and The Confidential Clerk (1953).The themes of his dramas newlinehave universal appeal as they deal with modern man s entangled and incomprehensive newlinesituations, relations and psyches. newlineThe twentieth century English life is projected through the selected dramas of T. S. newlineEliot. Being religiously inclined T. S. Eliot covers issues related to morality and good newlinebehaviour. His dramas provide solutions to all entangled and complex relationships in newlineModern times. Dramas of T. S. Eliot help to re-establish faith in religion and God. newlineThe selected plays for evaluation provide moral lessons and distract people from sins and newlinewrongful activities. newlineFirst chapter discusses a brief history of English drama with a special reference to newlinetwentieth century English drama. It also analyses the bio-sketch and literary works of T. newlineS. Eliot.
