The decline in economic growth due to recession in newlinedeveloping industrial sector along with weak human mobility have caused newlinea rapid surge in environmental cleanliness helping the natural ecosystem newlineto retain its preservance. Even though this scenario occurred recently, this newlineis not the way the world, the nation, scientists, researchers and all other newlinestakeholders expect to conserve and protect the true environment. newlineTransitional ecosystems such as riverine estuaries, mangroves, coastal newlinelagoons, wetlands, etc., are under multiple stressors driven by anthropogenic newlineand natural disturbances particularly, in developing tropical coastlines. newlineThe extreme natural calamities witnessed in the recent past taught us a newlinelesson that it is the result of long-term human exploitation of natural newlineresources, poor management practices and uninterrupted anthropogenic newlineaction. So, the primary step put forward to conserve and protect the newlinenatural environment is to control and reduce the anthropogenic intervention, newlinewhich will definitely slow down the pace of all other devastating factors. newlineFurther, the numerous research studies in the marine/aquatic transitional newlineenvironments have been uninterruptedly disseminating the current status newlineand future projections that might adversely affect the health and functioning newlineof the ecosystem. newline
