The rise of internal combustion engine-based transportation has madea rise in environmental impact. The burning of crude oil in industries and the conveyancedomainisa significant cause of air pollution and climate change. Hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) turned out to be touted as anauspiciousresolution to reduce fuel consumption, but they are not a permanent solution to the problem of emissions from road vehicles. In this thesis, a proposal for a light solar electric vehicle (Solar E-Rickshaw) is formulated, with the aim of developing an optimum power management system that utilizes maximum solar power to charge the energy storage device and achieve high-efficiency operation of powertrain components. newlineThe manifest of this thesis work is to develop a novel controllerapproach for optimum power operations that address the problems associated with peak power point tracking from solar PV and managing power from multiple sources for the E-Rickshaw. This issue is quite recent and crosses many academic disciplines. Therefore, an effort has been made to present a fresh viewpoint on how the E-Rickshaw problem is described. The overall approach derives from the elementaryopinion found in traditional management proceduresfor maximum solar power tracking. newlineThe proposed system introduces a maximum power tracking approach for Solar PV power-driven e-vehicles via Black Widow optimization technology. The system addresses the problem of traditional MPPT techniques through a black widow spider-inspired optimization approach. Field-oriented control is adapted to control the speediness of the Brushless DC motor. The proposed system is designed and simulated in the MATLABĀ®/ Simulink environment. The completemodeling of the Advanced MPPT adapted for the PV-driven BLDC-based E-Rickshaw is also discussed. The non-linear characteristics of PV, for example, shadow, unequal sunlight, and climate conditions affect the efficiency of the system. The MPPT tactic increases inclusiveefficiency and minimizes the price for the process of the E-Rickshaw
