Abstract: | In modern era, surely we are in need of transport facilities to all the humans. Especially the school children want to continue their studies with the help of transport facilities. The children need sustainable transports facilities. So we are more responsible to provide sustainable transport facilities to the rural areas school students. In Theni District, more than 40 percentage of the school student came from rural areas. So they need more transport facilities to the school students during the peak hours. Now a days the students are coming to school by government bus private bus, School bus, Auto, Cycle, Town Bus, Mini Bus bike etc., The main aim of the thesis is to analyse the perception of parents and school children regarding transport facilities. The problem statement relies on the children perception on the factors influencing their satisfaction level. Both analytical and descriptive type of methodology used in this study. Pilot study done with 50 school children and primary data collected by using well framed questionnaire with 583 school children and 320 parents by way of proportionate convenient random sampling method. Twelve hypothesis are tested through the transport facilities factors and factor rejected the framed hypothesis and alternate hypothesis were accepted. newline |
